ReelIntel

We bought a boat. Then the demersal ban hit.

Like a lot of new WA anglers, we'd been looking forward to chasing snapper and dhufish. When the West Coast closure extended to 2027, we had a choice: let the boat sit, or figure out what else was out there.

So we started learning. Trolling spreads, slow pitch jigging, pelagic patterns, seasonal runs. Turns out there's plenty of excellent fishing still available - you just need to know what, where, and when.

ReelIntel is everything we wished existed when we started. Practical info on 120+ species across WA's five bioregions - species profiles, techniques, regulations, and conditions. No fluff, just useful information to help you get on fish.

The closure changed things. But fishing in WA didn't end. It just shifted. We're here to help you shift with it.
